Anyway. First things first.
GO PLAY THERE NOW. ;) There's been some awesome fills and there's a lot awesome prompts to be filled and I've been slowly wasting my life in there writing Jack/Castiel instead of doing productive stuff. What news.
Sooo, other thing: on the 9th/10th I won't be much around because I'm in Florence with my mother to see opera. Then I realized that the crossover exchange fic deadline is on the 12th and I still haven't finished it. And since it needs to be betaed and I hoped to finish it today..
Yep, I need a beta. Anyone is up for betaing a SPN/Watchmen crossover fic which will be gen and most probably between 5000 and 10000 words? I hope to keep it more along 7000, but I have no idea of how much the end will drain out of me. Has spoilers for S5 of SPN and the entiretey of Watchmen and as far as characters go it has Dean, Sam and Cas for SPN and Daniel and Manhattan for Watchmen. In case I'd hope to send it over either tonight or tomorrow morning. And I'd need it before the 12th. Any takers? I'd mostly need the plot checked and to know if it makes any kind of sense.
Aaand, since I'm there, other beta request. Anyone is up for betaing me 11000 words of Jimmy Novak centered dystopia fic? Or, what I spent the last week writing even if I had more pressing matters to attend to. Anyway, warnings: it's depressing, it's gen unless you count Jimmy/Amelia in the past as not gen, there's a pretty major character death (not Jimmy though) and it's based on Oryx And Crake even if there's not as much genetics meddling (especially with animals, I have no fantasy) as in the original. Apart from the usual grammar I'd probably mostly need to know if a) it has sense, b) if the plot other than having sense works and c) if everyone is in character. Everyone. It's not that great bunch of characters, but whatever. XD Any takers for this one? I don't have a deadline so no hurry. XD
