1. Err so between managing to get sick in May and having my life swallowed up by the five acts meme (for which I'm still working on some late fills), I missed birthdays. Soo. Happy late birthday to [livejournal.com profile] polvodestrella and [livejournal.com profile] amantium_irae, and late happy birthday for yesterday to [livejournal.com profile] twoskeletons! :DDD I hope you had amazing days (for the first two) and that you'll have one as well (for the latter), possibly with a lot of Misha's face spammed your way. And that the next year is nothing but awesome for all of you. ♥ [and if anyone wants to throw a prompt for anything my way I'll see what happens.]

2. Okay, let's talk some about the other two finales I got after the vampire porn this season, shall we. And possibly more stuff about those shows since I don't talk about them regularly.

H50: Uhm, I feel like after the magnificence that was 1x20 they decided to become less awesome (P. Diddy Puff Daddy? Seriously?) and Danny and Rachel having an affair was pretty much OOC in a good number of ways, though that storyline has worse problems than the whole cheating aspect of it. Like: that they could have totally made it not come out of nowhere, that everyone was acting in a totally stupid way (like, okay, you're leaving your husband, but why should you leave for New Jersey THE DAY AFTER YOU LEAVE HIM? It seemed too rushed - also why couldn't Danny just tell her that Steve was in trouble? O_o) and mostly, BO-RING. Hell, I'm never good at guessing but I thought that she'd tell him that she was pregnant after the first call. Come on, writers, use some more imagination.

Anyway, wow. O___O that was a good job of breaking them all up, huh? Though (and that's when the slasher goggles kick in and I start totally not caring about babies) DANNY AND STEVE ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO DIDN'T BREAK UP. \o/ I mean, come on, let's assume that Danny spent the whole season waiting to patch things up with Rachel, and hell, he hates Hawaii and just wants to go back to JonBonJoviland, BUT Steve's in trouble and he doesn't go. Come on. Considering what I usually get, I won't say no to that development. I also might have thought that Steve/Kono sexytimes in jail would be hot, and I don't even ship it. Wtf. Also lol Steve McGarrett, my Latin professor used to say that our class was a benevolent dictatorship when I was in high school, he should sue you. Now can I hope that next season is Chin being the inside man and Danny saving the day? Anyway, I def. liked this episode better out of the ones aired after 1x20. They could've done that better but anyway I mainly watch for the bromance and because of DDK, I guess I'm easily pleased.

Chuck: OH MY GOD THAT WAS DELIGHTFUL! I just loved everything about the finale. Except that it lacked Jeffster crashing the wedding reception, but. I really liked how they dealt with the Volkoff story (I wasn't expecting the guy to be the first intersect, woah O__O), I'm wondering if I could appreciate Bela more now that I appreciate Lauren Cohan, if I re-watched SPN S3 (which is admittedly my least favorite so idk when it could happen XD) and OH THE WEDDING WAS PRECIOUS. Though the vows reharsal was way more precious. And Chuck/Sarah buying the buy more was awesome. And Casey's 'SO MANY RUSSIANS'. XDDD oh Casey never change. I love everything that character chooses to be. xD Also I want a Captain Awesome for myself. (And about the previous eps, I liked that Ellie is finally clued in and really, they could have clued her in a bit before.. XD also Jeffester/Big Mike adventures searching for casinos were awesome.) Though the ending? The ending was totally the best thing ever. MORGAN WITH THE INTERSECT! I wouldn't have guessed that they'd go there at all but.. IT'S SO AWESOME. And Chuck/Sarah/Casey's faces at the end were so priceless, lolol. Also Beckman is awesome. And really that finale made me so very happy. Now I just need to get ready for surviving SPN next week. Oh dear that's gonna be fun. That was sarcastic. *makes prayer circles* but about Chuck really, the only thing that the finale lacked was more Jeffster. Yes, they're my favorite, I'll admit that. (Oh, about that, their shenigans with the video for the dinner in 4x23 was pretty much the most awesome thing ever. Those two, I needed their CD three seasons ago. Well, I need their spin-off after S5. Or webseries. WHATEVER. I'll never not ♥ them.)

Also: I've seen the Community finale because Josh Holloway was in it. Apart from having stared at him in that get up for way too long (Josh, get a show! Lost people other than DDK, GET A SHOW! Damn this is not the time for me missing Lost, sigh). I apparently decided that the whole thing looks good so I might start to watch it sometime soon. Eee. Late to the wagon like woah.

3. SPN people, if you haven't checked out the site for Divine: the series... do it. It sounds the right kind of insane. Also considering that Misha is partially behind it - I don't even know. I'm totally excited for it. (Also if anyone wants to be friends on there I'm Janie and I have the bride of Frankenstein in my avatar - I wish I looked like Elsa Lanchester *cough*.) Also lol I love that it's basically all SPN/Smallville/Vancouver-based-shows people making an online series pet project, aww. I mean all the actors are from that lot too, it sounds like such a family business thing. xD

4. Possible other sign of the apocalypse: in the last three days the more I hear politics news the more I want to weep for joy instead of frustration. Or: PM isn't going away anytime soon but he just got a pretty major blow and just hearing him seething and eating his own hands is making me happy. I had lost hope of ever being happy about politics in my lifespan or something. Now I'll just bask in the feeling until it lasts because I'm pretty sure that I'll have a bunch of reasons to bitch in a short while, but still. PM seething = did anything else happen?

5. I'm posting my [livejournal.com profile] spn_j2_bigbang story on July 29th which means that I'll have at least enough time to edit it as it pleases me. Though I really should work on the only major one I wanted to make instead of procrastinating on that (what news). Also I should seriously finish a couple of long things and then work on the two other challenge stories I have signed for but I guess I'll finish with the five acts stuff and then get to that. Especially I should work on the dcbb one since it's gonna be long. Joys of planning fic, but writing regularly again feels pretty awesome.

5b. Last day I re-watched The Good, The Bad and The Ugly because writing spaghetti western fic makes you want to. Then I found this online. I think I have to share.

I don't even know, I can't stop staring at it.

6. Uhm, so for the first time in my life I had the dubiously lovely chance to watch Eurovision. And Italy got second when we hadn't been in there for like thirteen years. It was the sublime kind of trash. Also out of 25 I think that there were just two songs that could have been considered not bad, but I guess it's why it's the sublime kind of trash.

7. That's pretty much it for now. Expect five acts re-posting some point during the week. If I survive the SPN finale. *crosses fingers* *waves*
