Chuck finale, or: how I learned to stop worrying and love Jeffster

Okay, I've just finished it and I think it deserves a small post. Little spy show that could I'll miss you.

1. AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW IT WAS PERFECT. Considering what had happened in 5x11 I wasn't expecting a fix-it ending but it just - it worked so WELL. It was the right balance of bittersweet and heartwarming and and and OH THE FINAL SCENE, I might have cried a bit. I had suspected that Sarah wasn't going to get her memories back that easily but it seemed like she was starting to remember on her own, more or less, so.. and gosh, the pilot parallels were just so flawless.

2. Casey hugging Chuck was awesome. And he went to search for his soulmate after lol that seemed just perfect. Also WHEN CHUCK DESTROYED HIS HELICOPTER - I might have died snickering.

3. I want an Awesome for myself. A clone, so that he and Ellie can be perfect forever. ;) just, all the aw-ing I did. Also Morgan and Alex being like 'hey we're moving in together' and Casey being like 'pff guessed it ages ago'. D

4. Beckman's face during the concert was as priceless as the quote on the cut tag.

5. Also the Chuck vs Sarah one was... like, how do writers like to tear my heart out? The scene in the house they were supposed to buy just killed me. ;__________;

6. The concert scene was awesome enough because of the obvious The Man Who Knew Too Much reference, but then - okay. Sorry everyone, but the Jeffster performance was the most horribly flawless thing in the history of ever.

JUST. With an orchestra. TAKE ON ME. I think I died giggling. And THEY GOT A RECORD DEAL! And the German guy was like 'men and women will love you'! Is it bad that if that record popped up on itunes I'd buy it? Jeffster, I'll miss your and your flawlessy campy/terrifying performances. ♥

7. Oh, I also loved when they tracked Sarah down and that finally all the red/green shirts at the buy more got to have more than one line - awww the Buy More! I could have done with some more Big Mike, but you can't have everything in forty minutes, right?

8. Gosh, someone stop me from listening to Take on Me okay.

9. Seriously, I'm going to miss these people like woah but I'm glad that they had a last season that they used to wrap everything up in a satisfying way. They did have a great run, for being on the verge of cancellation half of the time. And I love that they ended in a way that didn't.. like close the circle completely but didn't leave you as if there was something missing.

And with that I'll now go studying, since I spent the morning watching Jeffster being awesome instead of doing that. *cough* show, really, I'll miss you. *grabs tissues*

I really liked how they showed Sarah already getting her memories back--it left me feeling she would, with no doubts, just as the how/when being another journey that we just aren't going to see as episodes. Or perhaps she even got them back in the final scene, while Chuck was telling her the Chuck/Sarah story and the kiss was a verification.

I LOVE EVERYONE ON THIS SHOW SO MUCH. <3<3<3 So many scenes where I doubled over laughing, but it ripped my heart out several times during this finale. The last 20 minutes were so amazing. PLUS JEFFSTER! ORCHESTRAL TAKE ON ME!

I knooowwww ;_____; yeah it did leave me with the impression that they're going to be fine at some point if not now. And they're still adorable as hell. And I like to think that she got them back in the end - Morgan can't be wrong! ;)

I KNOW THE HUGS I WANT TO GIVE THEM <333333333333333333 and oh god I think I spent like half an hour rewinding the Jeffster scene. Apart from it referencing one of my favorite movies, just.. JEFFSTER SINGING TAKE ME ON, IT COULDN'T HAVE BEEN MORE EPIC! It was on the same level as the Jon Bon Jovi video except better because THERE WAS THE ORCHESTRA! ... gosh I want the Jeffster cds. Maybe I can go see them in Germany! ;)

Yeah. :D I thought the finale was wicked awesome. I like how it tied things up, but not w/ a neat bow -- they couldn't do the magic fix and replace her memories, but I feel like Sarah will work her way back w/ Chuck's help.

I loved Awesome covering baby Clara's eyes at the guns, and Ellie telling Sarah they were family, and Casey's hug, and Morgan's Disney princess solution, and the Jeffster concert. And basically every Chuck/Sarah moment in the whole damn thing. I heart them. I'm going to miss this show. It had heart and humor and a great cast. It can take me on!

I know? It was so good! And I was okay with it not being all neatly tied - Six Feet Under happened only once anyway ;) ;) - and I was okay with what they gave us. It was obvious that if she wasn't remembering right then at some point she would, and the ending was just so sweet oh my. <33

Hahah that scene was... awesome. ;) He's too great for the world. Casey hugging Chuck was just so... precious. *dies* And yeah, I'll miss them so much, especially because they had a balance of humor and heartwarming that is hard to find. Sigh. But yes, they can take me on too! ;)

You already mentioned all my favourite parts (plus the Awesome's line about no guns in front of Clara.) I watched several old Jeffster performances leading up to the finale.

And I love that they ended in a way that didn't.. like close the circle completely but didn't leave you as if there was something missing.

Me too! I really loved how they wrapped it up. I'll miss it so much. :(( And I'll miss having a lighthearted show to watch, but it's good enough that they lasted this much.

Awesome's no guns line was SO GOOD. I forgot to mention it but it made me laugh a lot. And hee, Jeffster. I'll admit I spent the rest of the morning doing a youtube greatest hits yesterday...... *coughs*

i watched the Chuck finale yesterday and omg - SO MANY FEELINGS ;__________________;
i was really worried about where the show was going at the end of 5x12 but it panned out okay. it was the perfect ending for our little show... i just wish Chuck and Sarah had bought that house - MY HEART, JANIE, MY HEART :______________;
