So, [profile] darknumb  tagged me and I gladly do it. Even if I'm running out of weird facts, it makes me look like a broken record or something ;)

The rules in this game of tag are simple -- once you have been tagged, you must write a blog with ten weird, random things, little known facts or habits about yourself. At the end choose 10 people to be tagged and list their names.

1. I don't tan. Either I remain as white as I am (with a veery high protection) or I burn, and kind of badly, too. I don't think I ever got a serious tan my whole life.

2. In my early teenager-y days (more or less when I was twelve years old), after reading Anne Frank's diary, I became seriously interested in concentration camps and WWII. I still have a shelf of the library which has only WWII-concentration camps-Jews' persecution related books, i had read quite a lot of non-fiction about it and I had also brought it as a primary subject in the exams we have here from mid-school to high school. It's probably one of the historical subjects I've got most knowledge about and the sole mention of Nazism/neo-Nazism makes me sick. I've probably snapped at too many people that I heard joking about it. And I'd really want to visit Auschwitz.

3. I don't listen to much Italian music, don't watch many Italian movies (only old ones), don't read much current Italian literature and don't watch our TV. The only Italian thing I love beyond sanity are probably comics. I've got way too many, 80% from the same publisher and I rarely read foreign ones (some Japanese ones but I haven't for at least a couple of years). And I've been crushing for ten years on the protagonist of my favorite one, which would be a guy living in London which investigates about horror stuff. Though in its early years it also touched social issues and was a terrific one. Right now they're on a meh quality but I can't not buy it.

4. Probably everyone reading already knows that, but I've got a massive Clint Eastwood crush. In every period of his life. There's a reason why he's number two on my favorite men ever list.

5. I hate driving. I have the license but probably thanks to my terrible ex driving teacher I simply hate it. It's stressful, I can't relax, I get nervous and it gives me headaches. I don't ever plan on having a car. I'm alright with walking and public transportation.

6. When at home, I usually wear pajama pants and a flannel shirt which was my father's once.

7. When a book grabs me, I can be very fast at reading. I finished The Count of Monte-Cristo in three days and the second and third Dark Tower books in a total of four days.

8. I can't for the life of me understand how Doctor Who works. It's frustrating because I read summaries and stuff but I just can't grasp the concept. Enlighten me, anyone?

9. I've got an irrational disgust of worms and bugs. Well, maybe only the worms is irrational because the kitchen here a couple of years ago was invaded by bugs and I can't stomach the sight of one since then.

10. I have terrible dream patterns. I almost never remember what I dream at night. If I do, which is no more than one tenth of everything I dream about altogether, half of the time it's a nightmare (and pretty disturbing). The other half is weird or weird and disturbing. I actually remember one single good dream every year and it's been a pattern for some time. Usually it's someone famous I have some crush on with whom I get to flirt, but stops before anything serious happens. This year it was Naveen Andrews, last was sort of John Frusciante and the year before Scott Weiland. The fact that this year already happened means I can forget to remember decent dreams until next December at least.

Not tagging anyone. Whoever wants to do it, please do ;)

And now I'll be off to the Original John Locke I think.

What do you want to know, anything specific? Shamelessly copied from Wikipedia:

The programme depicts the adventures of a mysterious alien time-traveller known as "the Doctor" who travels in his space and time-ship, the TARDIS, which appears from the exterior to be a blue Police box. With his companions, he explores time and space, solving problems and righting wrongs.

The Doctor stays alive by regenerating himself, and during the Old Series - ran from 1963 to 1989 - there were seven Doctors during that time. And of course the Eight Doctor in the 90's TV movie, until 2005 when the new series started, with the Ninth Doctor aka Christopher Eccleston.

So umm, ask anything you want I kinda suck at explaining things. :D

We are twins on number 2 & 5.

I went through a Holocaust phase as a teen and I count The Diary of Anne Frank as one of my favourite books. My itinerary for Europe, whenever I go, has her house and Auschwitz on it. Have you read The Boy Who Loved Anne Frank by Ellen Feldman? It's an alternative history that imagines Peter survives and immigrates to the US where he remains haunted by his time in the attic. Speaking of reading quickly, I read it in one day!

I hate driving too. I actually only have my permit.

1. Haha me too. Often people ask me if I´m ill, because I´m so pale...

5. I don´t have a driving licence yet, but I´m so scared of doing it.

I'm alright with walking and public transportation.

Yes, yes, yes. Same here.

8. I watched 1 episode and it really wasn´t for me. Maybe I just don´t get british humour...

1) I don't tan either. Lets stay pale and interesting together.

8) Man, I'm English and even I don't get Doctor Who. I think it's just an immortal fellow bouncing around time and space in a phonebox with various female sidekicks. Good tea time TV.
