Since you're gone my empty arms have nothing left to hold

1) The Christmas cards are all bought! And since tomorrow there's a general strike and if there's something I don't feel like doing is marching under the rain after the whole fever deal, I guess I'll stay at home and write them so that I can post everything sometime next week. I'll try to make them as personalized as possible. ;)

2) Cards speaking, thanks to elise_509 (well, that return is always in my Christmas wishes), bachlava (two, too! ;) for a second you had me wondering how freaking much does my postal service fail until I saw what you wrote on the upper side), alles_aus_liebe, inthekeyofd (definitely makes up for it!) and haldoor (woah, that's a beautiful card)! Yeah, everything at once but on Monday it was a national holiday and everything arrived between yesterday and today.

3) Ouch, today it was raining like it has never rained and I also caught half of it. Scratch it, I read three seconds ago that it was raining so much that someone drowned while in a tunnel. Crazy.

4) Re yesterday's Heroes because I don't feel like doing a post: ( no spoilers really but still )

In return, they have to post this in their journal, regardless of their drawing ability level. If you absolutely can't draw, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to offer drabbles or icons or something instead.

Hint: my drawing abilities are nonexistent. Trust me, you want to ask for icons or a drabble. You do. I can't. ;)

Okay. I'm trying to get ahead with the Hohoho fic and then I'm watching Pushing Daisies. Until I get to a certain point I forbid myself to give in.

Okay. I'm officially signed up for NaNoWriMo. I think I'm writing the sequel to Ain't Got No Home. I'd better use the next two weeks to plot. God, I'm definitely gone crazy.

That said... uhm, there has been this thing I've been wondering for a while. Now, since this journal is public, I always friend back whoever friends me first as long as we have at least one community in common. And if someone friends me out of the blue but we already talked in communities or know each other from around, no problem. But in my profile I said that I'd love if whoever wants to friend me would drop me a comment first so that I know, because then I feel weird commenting at their journal and then it clearly doesn't work for a while.

Now, in the last days I've had a bunch of people friending me from nowhere and then de-friending, or friending me, then post once every month with stuff I really couldn't comment on like family pictures or birthday wishes, then de-friended after a couple of months but who never commented here.

I've also have a bunch of people friended who are on Lost fic communities, too, but who never comment and don't update their journal themselves. Not to mention one person lately that commented out of the blue on a reply I gave to another person about a book. Not that I minded, but uhm, I guess I'd introduce myself if I did on some journal I've never been to? Not to mention random people from communities we have in common that have voted on a couple of polls but anyway.

Now, I'm not planning friends cuts since I figure that anyone reads anything anyway, if someone is here for the fic won't read my (rare) locked posts and if someone isn't here for the fic and doesn't update she/he won't check the FL either, but uhm, if you friended me and you are here and we never talked, talk to me? Just this once? Tell me why you're here? If I have some lurkers, which I don't think I do but just in case? I really am curious, y'know ;) no hard feelings or anything. Hey, I never say no to friending ;)

And now I'll edit a kind of completely weird thing I wrote during a studying break in the university library today. Uhm, everything said.

So I take a break from Hobbes (can't wait for this month to be over really and for exams to end..) to make a couple of memes and basically making what should be a happy post ;)
