janie_tangerine: (lost boone OMG THE PRETTY)
Title: I've Been Everywhere 3/14
Rating: PG-13 for this part, will reach NC17 overall
Characters/Pairings for this part: Jack, Boone, Sawyer, Shannon.
Word counting: 4555 this part, around 50000 overall.
Disclaimer: Lost is not mine and all the folk songs used here are not mine. The places really exist and I've never been there.
Summary: Sawyer is a rambling musician during the Dust Bowl, Jack a former L.A. doctor traveling with him.
Thanks to: [livejournal.com profile] elliotsmelliot for the great beta job for which I can't be grateful enough and to [livejournal.com profile] fosfomifira for the title. I'd still be searching for one otherwise.
A/N: the song referenced here is So Long, It's Been Good To Know You by Woody Guthrie (you can also find it by Pete Seeger); this takes place at the same time 2 took place but it was too long to put them together.

Part I, Part II, Part IV, Part V, Part VI, Part VII, Part VIII, Part IX, Part X, Part XI, Part XII, Part XIII, Part XIV

Jack feels weird. He hasn’t known this guy for three hours yet and here he is, spilling the story of his life or something like that. It’s not exactly like Boone isn’t doing the same thing either, but in some twisted way this place looks like something he might have wanted once. )

Title: I've Been Everywhere 2/14
Rating: strong PG-13 for this part, will reach NC17 overall
Characters/Pairings for this part: Sawyer, Jack, Boone, Shannon; Sawyer/Shannon (sort of).
Word counting: 3644 this part, around 50000 overall.
Disclaimer: Lost is not mine and all the folk songs used here are not mine. The places really exist and I've never been there.

A/N: the only song referenced here is Buffalo Gals (traditional); Shannon's girls are Cindy, Jessica and Mary Jo.

Part I, Part III, Part IV, Part V, Part VI, Part VII, Part VIII, Part IX, Part X, Part XI, Part XII, Part XIII, Part XIV

Sawyer isn’t in a hurry as he leaves the infirmary and gets closer to the actual city; this is a fairly bigger place than that stinking Granada hole and while he takes his time, he’s also glad that Shannon’s place is pretty much in the outskirts. )

Took me a while but I did manage to start with this. Yep, Nano novel here! Forgive me for the rather long header this round, next time it'll be way more slim since I'll have everything established here.

Title: I've Been Everywhere 1/14
Rating: PG13 for now, will reach NC17 overall
Characters/Pairings overall: Sawyer and Jack throughout all of this; mostly everyone else referenced in the prequel of this one or not is going to show up. Eventually Jack/Sawyer; implies past Jack/Sarah and Sawyer/Cassidy, will also include other het pairings which will be noted at their respective chapter.
Characters for this part: Sawyer, Jack, Arzt.
Word counting: 3890 this part, around 50000 overall.
Disclaimer: Lost is not mine and all the folk songs used here are not mine.

A/N: this is a direct sequel to I Ain't Got No Home, where Sawyer was a musician during the Depression; it (almost) directly follows from where that story ended and it presumes it entirely, even if I tried to make this as free from the other story as I could. I hope to post a part every two or three days, Christmas permitting and if I manage to do the editing as I hope. The only direct referenced song this part is Who's Gonna Shoe Your Pretty Feet by Woody Guthrie. All the places referenced here really exist, at least now. But they should have existed then, too. ;)

Part II, Part III, Part IV, Part V, Part VI, Part VII, Part VIII, Part IX, Part X, Part XI, Part XII, Part XIII, Part XIV

It has been a fairly decent week since he sort of picked Jack up in Springfield, or since they happened to be both headed to nowhere, or whatever you could call it; he hasn’t traveled with someone for the last seven years and while he never was one to long for company, not really, it has been good up to now. )

Title: And I'll Meet You Further On Up The Road
Rating: PG13
Characters/Pairings: The Oceanic Six, Desmond, Ben, Walt, Sawyer, Jin, Juliet, Claire, Boone, Shannon, Charlie and Christian (with some Jack/Juliet, Sun/Jin and help me, sliiight Sawyer/Kate)
Words: 4200
Summary: The Oceanic Six come back on the island.
Spoilers: up to the S4 finale.
Disclaimer: Surely not mine.
A/N: so, Her Majesty [livejournal.com profile] lenina20 at [livejournal.com profile] lostsquee asked for the O6 coming back and I guess I sort of covered everything. There are ghosts, a couple of resurrections, no one that we weren't sure was dead is dead, the ending is probably crazy enough and implies something that I hope never happens on the show and it was sort of really based on Further On Up The Road by Bruce Springsteen. Also, I you haven't read wrong on the pairing listing, even if I doubt it's ever going to happen again any time sooner ;) ♥ I really hope you like it!

“Welcome back, Ben,” Richard replies. Ben nods. There’s no place like home, indeed. )
