^ That's my FNL ship. From the beginning until the ends of time. Jason -> my favorite character, Tim -> love him nonetheless, that quote -> best thing ever on that show and I had to use that. I'm also quite happy of how it came out. God, I need to catch up with FNL.



Heeee, that's my Michael/Walt icon. And I regret not knowing who made it because I really want to give credit for it, but I needed to use that. I find it just so incredibly amusing, especially since having seen Finding Nemo at least three or four times the joke just makes me crack every time I look at this.



Erm, that's my Kate icon. While I don't really like her, I realized at one point that I needed a Kate icon (especially when I wrote her a couple of times) and this one is just so pretty. I really love the composition, the coloring and how soft it looks. And the text. If I need a Kate icon, I'll choose one I like, right?



Oh, this one. I absolutely like the concept, it's so original, and the composition is great. Also, works good for Boone/Charlie any time I want to write it, since they're both dead and alive in this. And I do have such a soft spot for that pairing, I wish I wrote it more.



Castiel! Well, I'm really digging the character right now, and happens that this icon is sooo pretty. And it has four Castiels on it and that's a major pro on choosing it ;)





Okay, I'll cut this very short, but God. WTF are (sadly former) Guns n' Roses doing? :// Apart from Duff and Slash (and I do hope they find a new singer fast for Velvet Revolver, though I'm really sad it ended how it did. I loved VR. And I still like Scott Weiland btw), God. Okay, Izzy is all good and fine except that the latest record was kinda meh (I mean, take two years but do a proper one with songs with proper lyrics. But I'm digressing), but...

Looks like Chinese Democracy is out! And there's an entire song on I guess the official site, I heard it and it sucks. There isn't a good thing about it. It SUCKS. If the whole record is like that, I'll just wonder what's happened to Axl's song writing if it took him seventeen years to release such crap. And no, I never really liked the guy and never thought he represented GNR and everything (hey, fuck, I listen to GNR because I like the other four, not him) so that doesn't help the thing, but God. I'm so not buying it.

And then today I read my FL and I find out that Steven Adler is on a VH1 program to try to do rehab rightly...? Dear Steve, I really do like you and I always thought you shouldn't have been fired and you had an incredible amount of bad luck, but if you couldn't do it in eighteen years, I doubt you'll make it on a TV program. What a waste.

Your Finding Nemo Michael icon NEVER fails to make me smile. It's too awesome, seriously. If we ever find who it was that made it, they need to be worshipped endlessly.

The Nemo icon is one of my favourites. I think it was made by the FSM. Great quote on the FNL one. I got a Kate icon for the same reason you did. The Charlie/Boone is also very nice. I liked all the ones in that luau series.

Speaking of icons… If you ever make anymore Pushing Daisies ones, would you be able to make me a pigby/digby one? There is a scene in the latest episode where they meet. If you're up for it I could find you a screen cap. If not - no worries!

The GNR angst is neverending. It started in 1990 and it still goes on, so well, I just should be adjusted.

Oh, I'm planning on more indeed! And I have my zip for the latest episode, so I think I should have the caps already. I'll check tomorrow when I'll probably get down to the business, but if there isn't I'll get back at you. No problem on it, I loved that scene, too!

Slash and Duff spent a long time doing most of the publicity for VR, so I reckon they're probably enjoying having lower profiles at the moment! I hope they work things out with VR. There'll be a singer out there for them, and I never much liked Scott Weiland at all (all of Axl's ego, none of Axl's talent) so I'm actually quite glad they're rid of him. Plus we have Slash's solo album to look forward to...

As for Izzy...he's always been his own man.

GN'R...have you not heard the leaks from June? I'd say Chinese Democracy is one of the weaker songs, and the new version is just a bit too layered and oversaturated, if that's the word. The leak was a bit rawer, though it still took ages to grow on me. But it's a straight up rock song. I really want the album to do well as I love Axl, he's one of the best rock vocalists there's been, and I think the songs are brilliant, but I worry that the average person isn't going to 'get' them, or is just going to bitch about Slash no longer being in the band. If you don't like Axl himself I'm not sure how much you'd take to it, but you can't deny the other guys in the band are very talented and they're trying their own things, not just living in the '80s and trying to emulate Slash. At least you can say each song is unique!

I feel bad for Steven Adler too. He's a real mess and although, logistically, firing him was a good idea, I can only imagine how it must have affected him personally. He's still bitter about it. He did an interview a year or so ago and didn't come across too well. Drugs have ruined him.

True, I had forgotten about the solo album. And well, Scott Weiland didn't really do as much as he could with VR, but I just loved Stone Temple Pilots and I think that he doesn't have much to envy to Axl in regards of songwriting. But I'm a STP freak so probably biased ;) I just hope they choose a good singer now.

I kind of love Izzy's attitude, but his latest record was like.. nice songs with a sentence always repeated instead of normal lyrics. But the music was good, so I just don't know why does he write an album each year when he could take his time and do a full-round job. But I like that he basically doesn't care and does his own thing.

I haven't heard the leaks, but I'll be downloading the record when is out. That Chinese Democracy version is just... blah. I'm not much into electronics, saturation and stuff, I just can't find anything in it that I liked. The point is that I was into GNR mainly for Duff, Izzy and Slash in the order and while I think that Axl is a brilliant vocalist/performer and wrote great songs, he just isn't what I like/liked best about GNR. I'll try to be objective though, apart from Chinese Democracy ;) bitching about Slash no longer being there would be pretty stupid, it would be like bitching at Queen for touring with Paul Rodgers and I attended that and loved it, so I guess I'll give Axl his chance.

Poor guy. I really, really feel bad for him, especially since a couple of years ago or three it looked like he was back on the good track. I think he should have got help then. I can't really see how he's ever going to clean up on a TV program *sigh*. I really feel so bad for the guy.
