1. Hiii. _izu_ and marlonob left this morning. :( It was awesome to have them here. Argh, whyy is it that your friends live like half the country away? <33 anyway, sorry for being kind of MIA but I should be more around now. If only because I have exams soon and good luck to me there.

2. Christmas cards arrived!! I've already thanked some of you on Twitter but since we're here, thanks so much to hopelessfangirl (your card was AWESOME and totally trufax <33), wandersfound (and you already knew but THAT DRABBLE IS AMAZING <33), blackonice (THANK YOU!! And the sugar-y drabble was just perfect, I loved it), darknumb (thanks again, I fell off the chair when I opened that card XDD) and eponine119 (the card was great, and I loved the holiday story <3333)!

3. I have an idiotic cold. If my nose manages to breathe I cough, if I don't cough I can't breathe through my nose. I hope the meds I took work fast because it's driving me crazy, ugh.

4. New TV arriving soon! I'm sososo excited for Chuck which will also gift me with two hours of awesomeness on the 11th after my first exam. And for SPN and the vamp porn! Also, Gina Torres is starting on the first vamp porn ep after the hiatus so YAY!!! That thing gives me satisfaction, lol. And I started checking out Deadwood because since I had a bookstore coupon for Christmas I went for the one which sells dvds and I got myself S2 too plus the entire Monty Python's Flying Circus so I figured I'd start it. I've only watched the pilot but for now I LOVE it. Westerns + lack of civilization + great acting + awesome characters = me liking a LOT. Also, yay for Jim Beaver being a regular, lol.

5. Separate TV point: while I do indeed hope that Lost S6 is nothing like S5 (in hindsight, er, S5 really didn't cut the deal for me) and even if I sort of don't want Feb. 2 to arrive because it means that it's really ending and ugh, I don't think I'm ready to give that show up yet, while I completely cut spoilers since the Comicon stuff, my interest is kind of perked up. Mainly because of this not really original Last Supper-like shot which I happen to find pretty interesting. Right, the idea is TOTALLY NOT original at all, but I really like the composition and stuff even if it kind of confirms the only theory I hoped wasn't being confirmed. *headdesk* Even though Locke/not!Locke (?) in Jesus' place does not really work for me even if it was obvious, what actually intrigues me is that after going back to check on the original painting, Sayid would be Judas (WTF?), Kate would be St. Peter (even more WTF?), Sawyer would be John (and that would/could be interesting) and Jack is totally St. Thomas (which, if Locke is Jesus, totally makes sense). It probably doesn't mean zilch, but it's cool. Also, Frank and Richard look great ♥, Jin and Sun do too, and Desmond should be where Ilana is. That's all I have to say on the topic, except for the fact that it's nice to see Jack and Sawyer next to each other again. Even though no, I also have to say that the Dharma cans are made of awesome.

6. Also, I went to see Up again at the movies (hey, the friends hadn't seen it and I had only watched it on a crappy laptop so why not? XD) and thankfully I didn't cry again. I think that the kid in front of me (whose parents were totally into the movie while she was not) would have killed me if I had started bawling like the first time. And I also re-watched A Hard Day's Night which is still so awesome I can't even say. Paul's grandfather = ♥.

7. Random: I want to go see Looking For Eric. I will probably end up going the day after tomorrow even if I should study, but the temptation is there and I'm not sure how long is the not dubbed version going to stay around. :/

8. And since I should reply to some e-mails and then go to bed and maybe watch some more Deadwood or more wisely going to sleep since I'll need to study a lot tomorrow morning, I'll leave you with Bob Dylan made in Eddie Vedder, and since it's a new decade..

LOL, I remembered the BSG one. There's also a Sopranos one that was linked somewhere else so yeah, not original. I still like to stare at Sayid's arms though. ;)

The woman on the far left is.. er, someone who was on the second plane in S5 who seemed completely pointless and then it turns out that after five episodes with three mins of screentime each she has business with Jacob and so she's a regular. WTFFF. I'm still wondering why the hell is she even a regular. :/ And yeah, Charlie and Boone are def. in the first episode and probably in other two. I mean, I'm sure that Boone is in three eps, I can't remember about Charlie but I'm pretty sure they'll be the same ones.

I'd like to think that the character placement was intentional, but who knows with Darlton/ABC promo people. I wish Desmond was in that pic, it annoys me to an extent that Ilana is going to be a ~main character this season and Desmond won't be. (right?)

I know what you mean about February 2... I don't think the full gravity of the situation has hit me yet. I even rewatched all of the series this summer but still somehow I'm not in advance mourning for the show when I think I should be. I think once S6 starts rolling it'll hit me, but I don't know... I'm in some kind of extreme denial.
Also, all I can think about when I see that Last Supper promo pic is that I want to photoshop Locke out of there so it looks like Jack and Sawyer are checking each other out. Double blasphemous? I think possibly. =P

I NEED TO WATCH AHDN AGAIN SOOOOOON. I've been saying it since The End aired!

Yay for Python, yay for Up, yay for Deadwood and an enormous YAY for A Hard Day's Night! I can't say how many years it's been since I last saw it, but isn't it the greatest thing? And I totally agree on Paul's grandfather! ;-)

I LOVED DEADWOOD..I'm still pissed that along with Rome they canceled them, they said that both were too expensive, and the dialogue, oh the dialogue, pure GOLD, it was Shakespeare..that's why Ian had such an easy time with "kings" he had already spoken like that on Deadwood.

SERIOUSLY LOVE THAT SHOW..wait until you see all the guest stars too, oh Al, oh Dan, oh Saul..all of it.

I remember when that first aired, I was like.."I didn't even know they had that word then." Great show, wish the ending was a little better but to this day I'd have loved it to continue.

Actually if you look on my user info page, I have a quote of Al's there, it's my favorite of many of his...

Deadwood seems SO AWESOME! I absolutely loved the pilot. I can't wait to see the rest, if I manage to find some time between Hegel and feeling sleep deprived. Argh, why can't I just ditch studying? *sigh* And I seriously hope I manage to get the dvd for S3 sometime. It still isn't out for some reason. ://

I really liked the LOST Last Supper picture, if only because I need some resolution right now. I really am torn about any kind of reset, but I'd rather know than not :)

5. Yeeeeah, cliche to say the least, but I agree -- it's still kinda neat! Anything that references the show's mythology gets me excited, I think, especially when I'm like, "Ooooooh, clues!"

What is not-so-exciting is the inclusion of Ilana or whatever. Do not care.
