1. You know why I decided I like these resets? Because I can forget that f!Locke is wrecking havoc on the island. ARGH, S1!LOCKE, I HAD MISSED YOU SO MUCH. ;__; ah, how I loved thee back then. And how thee broke my heart when you fell of that chair.
2. HELEN! LOCKE/HELEN IS HAPPENING! AND THEY'RE ACTUALLY HAPPY AND MARRYING!! <333 though uh, from how they talked about Locke's dad I need to assume that in the Alt he wasn't the one pushing Locke from the window?
3. Randy is a douche. Nothing said.
4. HURLEY!! <3 I love that he's awesome also in the alt. And I liked that they remembered that he owned the box company.
5. ROSE, YOU MAKE ME CRY. ;____;
6. Locke, Locke, you should've called Jack. But I loved how that scene finished. And I loved the miracles line.
7. Locke's substituting job: I have just one word and that word is LOL. Apart from the gym bit which, well, ha, IT INCLUDED THE BEST LOL MOMENT OF THE EPISODE AKA TEACHER BEN RANTING ABOUT COFFEE. I WAS LIKE OMGWTF BUT I WAS LAUGHING SO HARD SERIOUSLY. Just, lol.

11. I don't like how misused Frank is, but at least when he talks he has the best lines. Also, DUUUUH HOT. When he was shoveling I had a braincircuit from the hotness factor. Mm. Yummy.

13. Ilana is still completely useless and I still don't see the point. Where the fuck is Desmond anyway?
14. Oh, Ben. You lying liar. Even though.. surprise! I ACTUALLY LIKED BEN THIS EP. What's wrong with me. But for once he had the lolsome snarky lines and he just lied once. Also, 'I'm sorry I killed you' at the end of the speech = LOL FOREVER. I agree with Frank.

21. So, the whole numbers thing was freaky. Am I wrong or some were connected to the seats on the plane? Like, Jack is number 23 and his seat was 23b? (Yes, I know Jack's seat. Shut up.) And so it means that all the touched people are candidates to be Jacob's true vessel? (Sorry about that.) And in that case why isn't Kate there?
21b. I actually likeaurilly's theory for which Kate will end up being the new Jacob exactly because she wasn't mentioned. That'd be beyond cool imo.
21c. Am I wrong or in the flashback they showed Jacob touching Jin even if I'm sure that in the finale he touched them both? Mm. Interesting.
21d. The whole free will/manipulated actions thing made me lol, but I'll explain the next section.
22. Just a couple of things about f!Locke. First, if he used to be a man then I want to know how he ever could become a SMOKE MONSTER of anything. Therefore, I'm thinking he's lying. Second, how the hell is he thinking to go away. Turning a wheel? Also, I guess that he wants to flee now because he can while Jacob is dead and no one replaces him. Third: he told Ben he wanted to go home, but WHERE THE FUCK WOULD THAT BE? I doubt he has a nice house in the countryside where he and Sawyer could play the odd couple. Therefore, I think that at least half of what he said is a pack of lies and that Sawyer is being very careless in following him.
Tho... uh. Wait a second. Isn't this a bit like team Jack/Ben in the beginning of S5 when they wanted to go back and Ben goes recruiting Nirvana!Jack? Mm. Look how well it went.
In conclusion: I'm very confused and very WTF, but at least it was the good kind of wtf and it moved the story along.

23. Seriously. This show is such a huge crossover. Moments of total lol.
a) The Smokey perspective which seemed a hellhound perspective.
b) The whole 'your actions have been influenced since you were very young and there's no free will' thing of f!Locke, which therefore means that Jacob is Michael and f!Locke is Lucifer. LOL. Seriously, at this point if it turns out that they're angels I won't bat an eyelid. Also, it'd be LOL if f!Locke was the devil or something because when Mark Pellegrino plays Lucifer on the other side... okay, I'll stop this. I'm positively dying of laughter.
c) Thee whole 'you and those other people exist just as possible replacements for Jacob', aka you're all candidates for who is the real true vessel. *snort*
Damn, my crossover ideas have started getting cracky as hell. Though seriously, really. Give Misha a cameo and that's settled. Or Jim Beaver maybe? Duh. Damn, this whole crossoverish thing is precluding my capacities of taking stuff half-seriously.
In conclusion. NEEDS MORE FRANK AND MORE ZOMBIES. As usual.

I don't think Sawyer trusts Flocke. I think he's curious and along for the ride, but I don't think the fact that the always cool and composed Richard crapped his pants right in front of him escaped someone as smart as Sawyer. I think that got through to him. He must know that this dude is creepy and that the bit about his options was definitely a lie. But I like where this is gong, where it seems like the island is a prison, Jacob was the jailer, and the real purpose of this show is that it's about containing something that cannot be allowed back into the real world.

I know! You could write a blue shirt sequel where Sawyer steals his shirt back. It looked very nice on Sawyer, just like last season blue looked good on Richard. Bless the costume designer.
All in all this was a tolerable episode for me - on the run!Richard, Frank saying what the audience was thinking, no pirate!Others, no Jack (sorry he is really grating on my nerves), no triangle, and happily ever after Locke.

This was probably the best of the bunch until now, except for part I of the premiere for me but I mean, there was Boone, that becomes by default the best episode of the season for me unless he appears again. I was starved, dammit. Frank being the audience's mouthpiece is awesome. He should have a centric. Like, yesterday. And ha, don't say sorry, once in a while I can get that a break from Jack can help. ;) I didn't miss the Other Raiders at all tbh. And no triangle = INDEED a relief.

Exactly! I keep seeing people mention that he's clueless, but I think he's the only one who's having the appropriate reaction at this point, precisely because he knows what exactly is going on. And him being all ignorant about the "candidates" makes me think that they might not have been Jacob's choices at all, but F!Locke's, and Jacob was doing the rounds touching them in order to protect them.

Guessing my ass off here, but maybe Jacob and Esau were the original inhabitants of the island (the Biblical Jacob and Esau worked out their differences and settled their land battles amicably, I remember), but when Esau died the island's magic couldn't let there be an imbalance of light (Jacob, we assume) and dark (Esau) so they made his body a shape shifter, and lots of times he LIKES being a Smoke Monster? Or they (the omnipotent "THEY") just cut to the chase and made him a Smoke Monster who just happens to know how to shape shift. What, I dunno.
Therefore, I'm thinking he's lying. Second, how the hell is he thinking to go away.

Word on the biblical Jacob & Esau (I know because I ended up there for a Jacob fic I had to write ages ago and I made myself a culture on the subject) which means that ours aren't the same thing.
