1. *waves* How are things? Sorry if I'm half-scarce but between writing a lot of stuff I should have finished ages ago and studying I'm mostly commenting and I'm checking the FL but not commenting on everything. :/ At least in a month I'll be done, hopefully. Ew.

2. Anyway, exam #2 done, went fine, now I have Marx next week, the Aesthetics complicated one on the 12th and pedagogy some time after that which I still haven't decided on, oops. Freedom, your taste will be great, when I actually get to you.

3. I am probably one of the three people -not- following the World Cup at-all. I think that at the moment football is totally being burned out of me but well, I have enough of it during the championship. Still, I hope someone who isn't an important team wins. All I have to say on the topic.

4. I'm almost done with editing my spn_j2_bigbang... which I have to post NEXT TUESDAY. Why am I always so-freaking-late? *headdesk* At least it's the day after the exam so I won't have anything looming on my head.

5. That said, I need advice for my deancasbigbang whose rough draft is due a week earlier than I thought so while I already have 9200 words of it and I -can- whip it by then... I can use some input. So, poll under the cut. Btw, it's Wings Of Desire Dean/Cas flavor, so if you've seen the movie, too, I could definitely use your input.

[Explanations: I need two groups for question #1, one of which should replace Nick Cave because while he could have played a small venue in Berlin in 1987 I doubt he'd play a small one in LA in the present day; I'm not too keen on Cas + armor but angel with armors is a kind of pivotal point and I've read it around so idk, input ;__;?; re three, well, there's a real actor in the original movie playing that part but now I'm wondering if I should drag RPS into this or not. So. Thanks for any advice?]

6. Btw, as soon as I'm done with the bigbang #1 madness, I'm starting to post my hope_in_sight fic. I delayed it for too long and even if I'm about 2/3 into it and I hate posting WIPs which I haven't finished I know where it's going and I have enough to keep going for a couple of weeks at least. So eh, expect a bunch of fic spamming in the next month or so. :/

7. I had my job schedules! I'm up for one day each week for the entire month and then I'll probably be for the first week of August, too, but since it's light I have an idea it means it'll be way heavier in September. Which is good because I'll just be thesis-writing. I just hoped for more hours in order to get the free exercising but eeh, I guess it'll be for the fall.

8. Hiiii new friends from spnland! <33 Also, er, it seems like I'm a broken record lately, but... three/four people who friended me in the last week without notifying me, do you want me to add you back? I don't bite. ;)

9. Stonehenge Apocalypse was every bit as awesomely bad as I expected it to be. It's kind of not encouraging that in between Marx and Modern History it was kind of the highlight of my month but eee, finals time is never what I'd call exciting. And this entry is random but since someone also nudged me because I had been in radio silence for a week *cough you know who you are cough* I figured that random was better than nothing, mm? ;) How are you all? I swear I'll catch up soon-ish. Very possibly soon-ish.

10. By the way, it was a robot head. Sorry, that one was #9 related, but don't mind it. I'll have it out of my system hopefully soon enough.

I'm not really a fan of RPF/FPF mixes, so I voted to keep it all fictional, though you could probably pull it off as a x-over. I would read it either way.

Since I know nothing about 70s & 80s metal other than what I've heard on SPN I can't answer your first question. Oh, I know, how about Iggy Pop? He might possibly play a moderately-sized divey punk nightclub. Although, punk not metal so maybe not to Dean's taste.

Good for you for getting so much writing done while at the same time having exams! You must have superpowers or something!

Yeah, I'm not a fan of that either which is why I'm re-thinking that, but the on the other side I can't find anyone plausible enough in the SPN bunch either. If I can't come up with anything better I might use JDM but implying it's him and not mentioning the name I think.

And ha, while I'm kind of well-versed in that genre I just can't come up with anyone who's still around. Though Iggy Pop isn't bad at all! And ha, well, Dean does like blues and he did sort of branch out from metal at times so I might definitely consider it, thanks!

Fff, it's the secret breaks technique. When taking a break from studying, instead of doing anything healthy like taking a walk, write fic. It sort of does work. Mostly. ;)

Cas in armour = teh SEXX! Also, Wolfmother were the only band I could think of that Dean could conceivably like, but then, I don't know how big they are in the USA (I'm guessing like Britain, not very) so you'll probaly have to check it out.

Stonehenge apocalypse was the best and worst thing I have seen all year. Seriously, the terrible accents and the CGI Stonehenge? Brilliant. And it was most definitely a robot head. :D

*G* good to know it's sexy because there's a bit in that movie which would be hard to change and keeping the armor would probably save me a lot of time and effort and brainstorming, lol. And uuuh, sounds like a good idea! #3 And you're from Italy, HDU even? ;) I know and care so much about football that I used a Juventus umbrella in Rome. Sorry? It was from a previous trip to N. Italy; you know, when you're like I need an umbrella right the frak now and will take anything you have. Anyway, I suppose I'm rooting for Denmark. Not quite a neighbour, but still a Nordic country.

Truth to be told, I'm not keen on Cas in armour. But I absolutely trust you to handle it well, if you decide to do it. You are, after all, somebody who's made me read the unlikeliest things (D&C get married - also, God is there; The Queer Con with Desmond and Sawyer etc.). Sorry, IDK anything about any music scene. Seriously, except for a certain artist.

The world cup so far has been hit and miss. Half the time it's really, and I mean REALLY boring. And then every other day there is a match that takes my breath away. But yeah... idk nothing too amazing has happened so you're not missing out. jsyk.

Okay so the Cas in armour thing is a bit of a personal fetish of mine but it's more the old greco-roman breastplate and leather kilt than full 'armour'.

Personally I would use JDM rather than Peter Falk in this instance just because of the audience, the familiarity of JDM is more likely to evoke a responce from the readers.

Nick Cave has been known to do the odd LA gig, they're just super small and hush hush, very under publisized (and very Nick Cave lets be honest ;p) They're mostly promo'd by emails to known local fans.

Gonna go back to stressing over mine now. I have 2 bigbangs running at the same time *facepalm*

Underdog teams are good! That's who I root for on automatic anyway. And ff yeah I've read about it on the newspaper, poor North Korea! (I'd have rather had South Korea being on the receiving end because they totally cheated when it was held there but eh, back then I still cared about football and I still remember it, errr.)

Well you can't remember a basically plot-less movie when you saw it ten years ago, right? ;) It was mainly regarding the fact that when angels fall they receive their armor falling on their heads and apparently pawn it to get some money and about Peter Falk being the famous actor who was also a fallen angel and a idk who I should cast instead. ;) But re-renting is good! That movie is worth it anyway, lol. ;)

Sports = CRAP most times if you ask me, but until it's the Olympics I see them. Football is just... THE MAIN TOPIC IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE IN THIS COUNTRY mostly, and I'm so thoroughly sick of it during the year that the WC is just... ANOTHER MONTH of added football. Which is like, DO NOT WANT.
