Or, well, not really. This poll also has an hidden purpose, but that's not the main point right now. The main point is that I realized I want to finish my AU bingo card, even if the FSM knows when I'll find time to write shit that isn't exchanges or my thesis or whatever (or writing one which won't be on the poll because I'm attempting to do it now). Anyway, I have some decently fleshed idea for some squares which are all Dean/Castiel, so I figured I'd make a poll and see how it goes. knowing myself, I'll end up writing the least voted one, but who knows.

So, under the cut you shall find some five/six shiny ticky boxes. Please choose three at most.

[Poll #1631379]

Also, if anyone here knows anything about Regency era which is more than the close-to-nothing I do, would they hear my idea and tell me if it's doable? Because it's one which I'd really like to write. At some point.

Okay, I just want to see how this goes. Now brb I'll go studying and then posting some fic which I can't possibly still be editing. If I manage. *waves*

1. *waves* How are things? Sorry if I'm half-scarce but between writing a lot of stuff I should have finished ages ago and studying I'm mostly commenting and I'm checking the FL but not commenting on everything. :/ At least in a month I'll be done, hopefully. Ew.

2. Anyway, exam #2 done, went fine, now I have Marx next week, the Aesthetics complicated one on the 12th and pedagogy some time after that which I still haven't decided on, oops. Freedom, your taste will be great, when I actually get to you.

3. I am probably one of the three people -not- following the World Cup at-all. I think that at the moment football is totally being burned out of me but well, I have enough of it during the championship. Still, I hope someone who isn't an important team wins. All I have to say on the topic.

4. I'm almost done with editing my [livejournal.com profile] spn_j2_bigbang... which I have to post NEXT TUESDAY. Why am I always so-freaking-late? *headdesk* At least it's the day after the exam so I won't have anything looming on my head.

5. That said, I need advice for my [livejournal.com profile] deancasbigbang whose rough draft is due a week earlier than I thought so while I already have 9200 words of it and I -can- whip it by then... I can use some input. So, poll under the cut. Btw, it's Wings Of Desire Dean/Cas flavor, so if you've seen the movie, too, I could definitely use your input.

[Poll #1581730]

[Explanations: I need two groups for question #1, one of which should replace Nick Cave because while he could have played a small venue in Berlin in 1987 I doubt he'd play a small one in LA in the present day; I'm not too keen on Cas + armor but angel with armors is a kind of pivotal point and I've read it around so idk, input ;__;?; re three, well, there's a real actor in the original movie playing that part but now I'm wondering if I should drag RPS into this or not. So. Thanks for any advice?]

6. Btw, as soon as I'm done with the bigbang #1 madness, I'm starting to post my [livejournal.com profile] hope_in_sight fic. I delayed it for too long and even if I'm about 2/3 into it and I hate posting WIPs which I haven't finished I know where it's going and I have enough to keep going for a couple of weeks at least. So eh, expect a bunch of fic spamming in the next month or so. :/

7. I had my job schedules! I'm up for one day each week for the entire month and then I'll probably be for the first week of August, too, but since it's light I have an idea it means it'll be way heavier in September. Which is good because I'll just be thesis-writing. I just hoped for more hours in order to get the free exercising but eeh, I guess it'll be for the fall.

8. Hiiii new friends from [livejournal.com profile] spnland! <33 Also, er, it seems like I'm a broken record lately, but... three/four people who friended me in the last week without notifying me, do you want me to add you back? I don't bite. ;)

9. Stonehenge Apocalypse was every bit as awesomely bad as I expected it to be. It's kind of not encouraging that in between Marx and Modern History it was kind of the highlight of my month but eee, finals time is never what I'd call exciting. And this entry is random but since someone also nudged me because I had been in radio silence for a week *cough you know who you are cough* I figured that random was better than nothing, mm? ;) How are you all? I swear I'll catch up soon-ish. Very possibly soon-ish.

10. By the way, it was a robot head. Sorry, that one was #9 related, but don't mind it. I'll have it out of my system hopefully soon enough.

1. Point 1 and 2 are what I'm now calling the proof that today is a good day.

potential HEAVY Lost casting spoiler, you probably guessed what it is already but still, cutting it. )

2. Point is, point 1 came and made the day more awesome, but it had already started awesome. Okay, now I'll probably pass for the seriously insane fangirl, but anyway. So, yesterday Chad Lindberg of SPN fame (I reiterate: Ash used to be my favorite character before he, er, died *sigh*) reaches 2000 followers on Twitter. I congratulate him on the achievement, then go to bed. Then I wake up and he has answered me and wished me an awesome weekend.

The actor playing my former favorite SPN character actually wished me an awesome weekend. How freaking cool is this guy? *____* Damn. I miss Ash like crazy. And I kinda wish he'd go to the con we'll have here *crosses fingers*. Because if he does... no but anyway, he tweeted back at me!! *is still ecstatic*

3. Okay, again with the caring is sharing meme...

For one week, recommend/share:
Day 1: a song
→ Day 2: a picture
Day 3: a book/ebook/fanfic
Day 4: a site
Day 5: a youtube clip
Day 6: a quote
Day 7: whatever tickles your fancy

Today's picture won't probably mean anything if you're not into Jersey people/music (I'm sure [livejournal.com profile] wandersfound is laughing her a** off now at my ridiculous Jersey love), but I found it while I was searching for one and it's like, all the best Jersey music/cinema can offer in one shot. The quality is kinda crap but...

I mean. JBJ, Southside Johnny, Danny De Vito, Little Steven AND Bruce?

Yeah, I'm a girl obsessed with people from NJ. No news.

4. Today I went to see Videocracy. My only reaction: I really want to emigrate. And that's all I'm saying for now on the matter. For now.

5. Blah. I need to start writing again. Last week between medieval idiotic philosophers and stuff I didn't manage to get a full sentence down and a) it feels weird b) knowing myself the more I make it last the more I'll be lazy and considering that I have 50000 words of two fics to write before October 31st, three Lost things I want to have as late luau stuff even if I'm seriously late at this point, the SPN/GO crossover of doom which is still not done at +20000 words and at least another three fics I really want to write... I should stop being lazy. St. Thomas Aquinas doesn't put you in the mood to write slash though. (not to mention, Medieval stuff in general will probably kill any porn muse you might have. I think it's that.) *sigh* I just hope that all the theology crap I have to study will turn helpful with SPN stuff someday. Right now? Bo-ring.

5b. me asking an opinion about a probably supremely blaspheme SPN pairing I don't know if I want to write or not, cut for sparing non SPN people. )

6. Okay, I'll go answering stuff I should have answered two days ago and then I'll probably go reading some book which doesn't refer in any slightest way to God's intellect/free will, human intellect or anything concerning how Aristotle was really a Christian without knowing it. *roll eyes* *waves*

1. Yesterday I went to see The Boat That Rocked and omg, what a delicious movie! Why hadn't I heard of it before reading a rec on the newspaper? Why didn't I know something so awesome was coming out? Because seriously, I can't remember having so much good-hearted fun seeing a movie in ages. And the soundtrack was seriously something precious. And the acting was great (and I mean, best part Philip Seymour Hoffman ever got -nod-) and the drama part was really well done even if it still was all deliciously fun and I'm just still high from it. Or maybe a movie about pirate radios broadcasting rock music illegally in the sixties is just my kind of movie. Anyway, the advice is, go see it. ;)

2. Er, god, in the Lost newsletter there was the link for [livejournal.com profile] scifibigbang and uuuhm, I'm seriously considering signing up. I mean, I have a ton of ideas for a 25000+ words Lost story and a couple SPN ones that would get to that length without a problem and the deadline is October 31st... but I dunno if I should sign up for such a big deal. Even if it's tempting. And it's four months. Uuuhm. *will think about it*

3. About that, tomorrow I should have some of that fic I owe, if I actually can stick an end on at least two.

4. I also found The Mountain by Steve Earle! I can't actually believe that there was some record of his around which isn't the first, but then again, the price was thirty euros. Seriously. Thankfully I had a discount with that chain and I paid it half the price but still, that's what I call theft. *rolls eyes*

5. There's a referendum on the 21st. And I, seriously, did not get what the fuck I should vote. I didn't manage to understand half of it.

6. Well, I need to lose my virginity with this stuff. Right?

Anyway, short for it, go vote for Misha Collins. ;)

7. Okay, I need more Alison Krauss into my life. Anyone has recs to give me before I just go and d/l the whole discography? ;)

8. Er, I think that's all. I know, I had more exciting posts. This isn't one of them. But to reiterate, go see #1. It totally is worth the price of the ticket.

No, seriously. I realized I need to know this for some point in the nano novel and since in fic I always found either options and I never had a clear idea about it, uhm, yeah, I'm doing a poll. Considering that I'm writing an AU where Jack is still a doctor, still had an high-class upbringing and he still plays the piano, so not really that different from canon on that side...

[Poll #1289752]

Feel free to share any other thought on the subject in comments ;)
