Summary: There’s something darker in Adam’s voice, something that wasn’t there when they crashed together almost a century ago; Richard lets it go, though. It’s probably the same for him, and thinking that they would stay the same is a foolish assumption even if they have denied it at least twice since they sat down.

The utmost lovely aurilly wanted a Richard/Adam sequel to A Touch Of Infinity, which I wrote for her for the crossover exchange, and I did my best to comply, with bonus Dumas because I can. Summary: Sawyer nods and swallows, trying to block out the fact that being stuck on the run from the Marshal he killed one time that didn’t happen, with Freckles’ former husband, who’s there because he tried to bail her out and then he bailed Sawyer out, isn’t funny at all. It actually sounds like a bad soap opera, but he won’t go dwelling on that.
