Well, it was the only one missing, so I just ignored my canon issues and went with it.

Title: As I Sat by Her Side
Rating: PG
Pairing: Shannon/Sayid
Word Count: 550
Disclaimer: No, not mine. So not mine.
Summary: Sayid doesn’t know why he’s so sure that the bracelet, half buried in white sand, was Boone’s.
Spoilers: Set after Orientation, but anyway up until Exodus I guess.
A/N: for [livejournal.com profile] 5_loves #4, jewel. And I'm done with it. Clearly since it concerns Shannon someone else had to be in the mix, even if he sort of isn't. I actually had a whole lot of other plans for this one, but the current canon completely ditched them and I had to invent something else. Oh well, I hope it's not too far out. The title is sort of stolen from a Nick Cave song completely out of desperation, but it doesn't have a thing to do with this.

Shannon gasps when Sayid’s fingers, closed in a fist when he sat next to her in front of the cave she’s staying in at the moment, unclench slowly and he lays the bracelet on the ground, between them. )

Because clearly writing Sawyer/Sayid in the breaks from Kant is a good idea, isn't it? *sigh* Anyway, I'm posting this now just out of superstition. Because I'm not usually a superstitious one, hell no, but I realized the other day that previous term, I had posted fic the day before or just immediately before the exam in the ones I got my best marks, so well, what should I say? *sighs and crosses fingers* *gets her head back on Kant* *sighs again*

Title: Night Vision
Rating: R
Pairing: Sawyer/Sayid
Word Count: around 4840
Disclaimer: well, not mine? Yes?
Summary: The important thing is that Sawyer always says that he’s doing alright, really doing alright, and that he shouldn’t be ashamed of it. Sayid still wants to think he isn’t real and that everything he says is what his subconscious needs to hear. Admitting that what Sawyer does is what his subconscious wants is a whole lot more difficult.
Spoilers: Uhm, general S4? At least up until 4x09.
A/N: All the places hereby mentioned except the island exist and have been visited by yours truly (the hotel in Paris is one where I stayed for two days or so) and all the places in Rome hereby mentioned exist and are some of yours truly's favorites to hang out. The bookshop and the coffee shop especially. The fair in Seville I was referring to is this one. The absinthe thing is also true but I don't like it much. Beware that I had the idea listening to Neil Young's Heart of Gold for how impossible it might seem, which says a lot about my brain's state. For [livejournal.com profile] 5_loves #2, skin. Title stolen from Suzanne Vega because she sort of became my studying soundtrack and I steal. Nominated for Best Slash Fic at [livejournal.com profile] lost_fic_awards, June 2008.

Why it’s Sawyer becomes a meaningless question; it’s him and knowing why wouldn’t really add anything or be of some help. Not at all. )

I suddenly was in the mood and decided it was better to go for it before it disappeared and every possible bunny for those two got killed. Did I really write relatively angst-free het? Relatively. God, I really hope I avoided a sugar invasion.

Title: Waiting On a Sunny Day
Characters/Pairing: Sayid/Nadia
Rating: sorta R. *hides*
Disclaimer: Sure, because if they were mine, I'd have killed her. Clearly they aren't.
Word count: 2175
Spoilers: Up to 4x12.
Summary: Then their lips meet halfway, like they both knew it was going to happen and nothing had to be said and Nadia’s heart skips another beat when she thinks that it’s their first kiss.
A/N: for [livejournal.com profile] 5_loves #3, first. This.. well, guess it's hasn't half of the angst it should have. Blatantly ignores what happened in episode 4x09 because for once that I have (sort of) happy people I wanted to end it on a good note. I know that good Muslim men/women shouldn't really have sex before marriage but since Sayid seemingly had it (and also quite some it seems) and Nadia looks pretty on progressive positions to me every possible religious implication was blatantly ignored. Going back to the roots, since the title is stolen from Springsteen.

Nadia is the first and only one that hears the truth from him. )

Clearly doing two banners for two apocalyptic fics in one month has done tricks to my brain. But since I can't do apocalyptic and I can't kill anyone, this is probably weird. But I slashed them, finally.

Title: You're Still Standing There
Pairing: Desmond/Sayid, Desmond/Penny
Rating: R
Disclaimer: surely not mine. And this never happened and I hope it never does.
Word count: 4100
Spoilers: S4 up to now, one for 4x09.
Summary: kind of mad use of the [livejournal.com profile] philosophy_20 prompt #1, birth. Also for [livejournal.com profile] 5_loves #1, reason. He knows that it would take nothing for Desmond to go on the shore and take that swim. He knows that if he did, the earth would tremble and shake, that everything would probably set on fire, that he could see the ocean waves from the porch of that house, that those walls would crumble upon him in piles of dust as all the rest would.
A/N: half apocalyptic, though no one dies. It kind of came out from the mix of the song prompt for day 7 at [livejournal.com profile] lostsquee, 'If the world were ending, would you kiss me or just leave me?' and of the Steve Earle song up there in my header of which I've of course stolen the title. Don't ask me why that song suggested me this, I don't know myself. For [livejournal.com profile] falafel_fiction because I said I'd write her Desmond/Sayid even if she didn't stump me on that meme and here it is. I sincerely hope it's halfway decent.

His body shakes violently and then he understands. It won’t let him go. The second he turned that key, he was doomed and if he tries to get away, it’s going to kill him and everyone on that ship. )

Since I'm way long from done with the WWII research and I had this one going through my head for a while, I figured I'd go with it. Though I've never really tried anything along these lines before, pairing included.

Title: Gallons of Rubbing Alcohol Flow Through The Strip
Rating: R
Characters/Pairing: Jack/Sayid
Word counting: around 4700
Disclaimer: didn't happen and they sadly aren't mine.
Spoilers: For Through the Looking Glass and The Economist.
Summary: He never drives. Sayid insists and Jack doesn’t really care for driving right now. They don’t have a destination; the important thing is never to stay in one place for more than two days. Jack doesn’t know why exactly. Sayid had told him that they were being chased, or something like that. Maybe he had also told him who was chasing them, but Jack can’t remember it. There are a lot of things he can’t remember, these days.
A/N: For [livejournal.com profile] 12_stories #10, loyalty, [livejournal.com profile] 5_loves #5, run and the quote prompt of day 5 hiatus challenge at [livejournal.com profile] lostsquee: It was almost noon, and we still had more than a hundred miles to go. They would be tough miles. [...] But there was no going back, and no time to rest. [Hunter S Thompson ~ Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas]. Now, as you have probably seen from the title, everything in this is very Nirvana, including the titles of the sections. Blame FF Jack. It isn't in chronological order. The sex isn't graphic at all, but a section deals also with withdrawal symptoms. The discourse in the second section isn't absolutely of my making, but it's a demonstration I studied in a class of moral philosophy which seemed quite suited.

Jack hasn’t seen Sayid for two years when he knocks at his door. Jack doesn’t open because frankly, he thinks it’s an hallucination. )
