Summary: western AU. Dean Winchester is a bounty hunter, set to catch a group of killers in order to get the money and retire from the business. Castiel is another bounty hunter aiming for the rich businessman who pays that same group of killers to do his dirty work, but for personal reasons. They decide to work together. It doesn't go as smoothly as it could.

For whatever reason, they spend a day lazing around on the couch, watching TV, and eating pizza, and wind up falling asleep curled up together. (Bonus if Sam catches them spooning and teases them mercilessly). From the description, you should already guess that this is unrepentant schmoop. Let's just all pretend that they can all still be happy, shall we. Title stolen from the cheesiest song in Paul Gilbert's discography.

A/N: written for polyonymous in the castielfest exchange; the prompts I used were, more or less: rain, hands, absolution, Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave., Gorecki by Lamb (from where I stole the title) and then there’s some linguistics as the likings specified.
